Position Overview

Allstate Security is seeking professional Unarmed Event Security Officers to support the NCAA Men’s and Women’s Championship Golf Tournament at Omni La Costa in Carlsbad. This is a temporary, high-profile event assignment requiring professionalism, flexibility, and strong customer service skills.

Event Officers will assist with crowd management, access control, and event operations, including providing security support during event load-in and load-out activities. Officers must be able to remain calm, alert, and professional while working in a fast-paced and dynamic event environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the event
• Assist with crowd control and guest direction
• Conduct bag checks and access control screening
• Provide security support during event setup and breakdown (load-in/load-out)
• Act as VIP escorts when required
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report concerns immediately
• Follow all event post orders and safety protocols
• Work closely with event coordinators and security teams

Required Qualifications

• Must possess an active BSIS Guard Card
• Must have flexible availability during the event dates
• Must be professional and well-groomed
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
• Multilingual is a plus

Work Environment

This position involves working at a large-scale outdoor sporting event. Officers should be comfortable standing for extended periods, working outdoors, and adapting to changing schedules and assignments.

Additional Information

This is a temporary assignment for a major sporting event, and officers must be available throughout the duration of the tournament.
