Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Koppel, PA

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable Unarmed Security Officers for a job site in Koppel, PA. This is a busy environment requiring the need to stay alert, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a strong security presence at all times.

This role is primarily focused on access control and other security functions and requires officers who consistently demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and strong attention to detail.

Unarmed Security Officers often serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors. Maintaining a professional appearance, clear communication, and a calm, confident demeanor is essential. Post assignments may require the ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift.

Available Shifts:

• Option 1: Thursday - Monday 10 PM - 6 AM (Full-Time)
• Option 2: Saturday & Sunday 2 PM - 10 PM (Part-Time)
• Option 3: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 2 PM - 10 PM (Part-Time)

Key Responsibilities

• Professionally control access to facilities by verifying identification, credentials, and authorization
• Monitor entry and exit points to ensure compliance with site policies
• Conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols to maintain a visible security presence
• Interact with employees, visitors, and contractors in a courteous and professional manner
• Observe, document, and report suspicious activity or policy violations
• Accurately complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and access control documentation
• Enforce site rules while maintaining a customer-service-oriented approach

Requirements

• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Must be computer literate (basic report writing, email, and system use)
• Prior security experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-activity environment
• Strong communication and observational skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
