Pay Rate: $18/hour
Role Summary
The Site Supervisor oversees daily security operations at an assigned site, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and assets. This role supervises security officers, enforces company and client policies, and serves as the primary site contact for client concerns and incident response.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must have or be able to obtain an Armed State Security License
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- 21 years of age or older
- Must pass Armed training and possess a valid pistol permit
Duties & Responsibilities
Security Patrol & Monitoring
- Conduct routine walking patrols to identify and address security risks
- Monitor access points and verify credentials
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies according to protocol
Security Operations & Compliance
- Enforce Security Post Instructions, company, and client policies
- Lock/unlock facilities, operate security systems, and monitor surveillance
- Address policy violations (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)
Reporting & Communication
- Maintain accurate activity and incident logs
- Communicate effectively with officers, clients, and management
- Maintain a professional appearance in a clean, pressed uniform
Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes
Team Oversight & Support
- Provide guidance and direction to security officers
- Ensure adherence to security procedures and customer service standards
- Assist with scheduling and shift coverage as needed
Client & Incident Management
- Serve as primary contact for client issues and escalations
- Review incident reports for accuracy and completeness
- Support onboarding and training of new personnel
Required Skills & Abilities
Minimum Required
- Ability to work effectively in high-paced, stressful environments
- Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Remain calm and decisive in critical situations
- Comfortable using technology
Preferred
- 3+ years Armed Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience
- 1+ year supervisory and customer service experience
Physical Requirements
- Sit or stand for at least 1 hour without support or break
- Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping
Education & Experience
Minimum:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years experience in Security, Military, or Law Enforcement
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Verifiable management experience
