Unarmed Security Officers needed in Gainesville, FL

FT/2nd Shift - $16.50/hr - Weekly Pay
PT/All Shifts - $16.50/hr - Weekly Pay

Requirements for Unarmed Security Officer

Must be 18 years of age or older
Possess a High School diploma or equivalent
Possess a valid Driver's license
Must possess a Class D Florida Security License
Must have at least one year of security experience
At least one year working truck gate security preferred
Must pass a background check and drug screen, including marijuana

Responsibilities of Unarmed Security Officer

Maintains high standards expected of all of our guards.
Manages schedules and fills in when no one is available.
Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property on foot patrols; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
Monitor and control access to restricted areas.
Respond to requests for assistance related to safety and security.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
Maintains organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
