Position: Healthcare Security Guard

Site: Various Healthcare sites in Kingston, Ontario

Hours: 8-12 hours, continental shifts/rotating days & nights

Payrate: $18.35/hour - $22.61/hour

Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a professional, visible security presence
Greet, assist, and direct the public
Protect clients, staff, buildings, and assets
Work independently and as part of a team
Conduct interior/exterior patrols and respond to emergencies
Document and report incidents, investigate as required
Perform patient watches and enforce hospital policies/by-laws
Manage access control, keys, and parking enforcement
Support monthly safety inspections and other assigned duties
Additional duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Valid Ontario Security Guard License
Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C Certificate (from a WSIB-approved provider)
Ability to be clean shaven to pass an N95 Mask Fit Test
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine (minimum double vaccination)
A copy of your immunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella [MMR], Varicella, Pertussis, and TB Skin Tests - Step 1 & 2)
Ability to clear a Vulnerable Sector Check (during onboarding)
Minimum 6 months healthcare security experience preferred
English proficiency (oral & written) required
6+ months of customer service experience is considered an asset
Authorized to legally work in Canada

Education Requirements (All)

College/University Education

Certification Requirements (All)

Valid Ontario Security License
First Aid
CPR Level C
