Job Title: Security Officer

Location: Bedford

Pay: $13.50 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time / As Needed (Seasonal/Temporary)

Job Overview:

We are currently hiring dependable and professional Security Officers for a seasonal/temporary position. This role involves maintaining a secure environment by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents while providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of security-related duties based on assigned post
• Detect and report suspicious activities or criminal behavior
• Patrol assigned areas and maintain a visible security presence
• Serve as a deterrent to crime and enforce site rules and policies
• Respond promptly to emergency situations with a sense of urgency
• Monitor daily activity to ensure compliance with procedures
• Report unusual incidents to management
• Complete clear, accurate, and legible reports
• Provide high-quality customer service at all times
• Work independently or as part of a team to resolve issues efficiently

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• 1–2 years of security experience preferred
• Military or law enforcement background preferred
• Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
• Must be comfortable working in high-traffic environments
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods (8+ hours)
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Additional Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must maintain all required licenses and carry them while on duty
• Willingness to complete pre-employment requirements, including:
• • Drug screening
  • Background investigation
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
