Job Title: Plaza Patrol Security Officer

Location: Pittsburgh

Pay: $19.62 per hour

Schedule: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Plaza Patrol Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment. This position requires active patrol, strong observational skills, and a visible presence to deter criminal activity in a plaza setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols of plaza grounds, including parking areas and surrounding property
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any concerns promptly
• Serve as a visible deterrent to theft, vandalism, and other violations
• Respond quickly and effectively to incidents and emergencies
• Enforce property rules, regulations, and policies
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff
• Write detailed and accurate incident and activity reports
• Communicate effectively with management and local authorities when necessary

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous security experience preferred
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods

Additional Requirements:

• Must have a valid driver’s license (if patrol requires vehicle use)
• Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Willingness to complete pre-employment screening (background check, etc.)
