Position Overview:
United Protective Services is hiring for a Security Operations Manager role supporting an office-based environment. This position is a mix of oversight, coordination, and day-to-day problem solving. You’ll be working directly with both the client and the security team to keep things running the way they should.
The role isn’t just about managing from a distance you’ll be involved in scheduling, checking in with staff, handling issues as they come up, and making sure expectations are clear on all sides. Some days are routine, others require quick decisions, so being able to adjust without losing focus is important.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily activity at the assigned site and make sure operations stay on track
• Act as the go-to contact between the client and company leadership
• Handle staffing needs, including schedules and shift coverage
• Support officers on site and step in when guidance or direction is needed
• Make sure post orders and site guidelines are being followed consistently
• Review reports, incident notes, and daily logs for accuracy
• Address issues as they come up and help resolve them in a practical way
• Maintain a professional presence when interacting with client representatives
• Help train and guide officers so expectations are understood
Required Qualifications:
• Several years of experience in a supervisory or management role within security or a related field
• Background working in office buildings or similar environments is helpful
• High school diploma required; additional education in a related field is a plus
• Ability to manage multiple responsibilities without losing track of details
• Strong organizational skills and steady decision-making
