We are currently seeking strong candidates for Professional Level III Commissioned Officer positions to provide staffing for SRO roles.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Current Level III license issued by TX DPS PSB (pocket card in hand)

- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a working phone

- High School diploma or equivalent

- At least 21 years of age and a U.S. Citizen

- Ability to pass a physical fitness assessment and background check

- No felony convictions within the last 10 years, Class A misdemeanors within 5 years, or Class B misdemeanors within 2 years

- No family violence convictions or current deferred adjudication for any felony or Class A/B misdemeanor

Requirements & Skills:

- Must possess own duty gear and firearm (service type, e.g., Glock, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson M&P in 9mm, .40 cal, or .45 ACP)

- Must have or be able to obtain a Level 3 retention holster, duty belt, and OD green tactical pants

- Ability to safely operate a firearm and demonstrate physical fitness for workloads including walking, standing, or sitting for long periods

- Professional demeanor, strong attention to detail, and a solid work ethic

- Quality verbal and written communication skills

- Availability to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior or current Military or Law Enforcement experience

- Exceptional weapon manipulation and accuracy

- Strong critical thinking and judgment skills for incident response and communication with school staff, students, and law enforcement
