This is a full-time in office role. This position is unable to be modified into a work-from-home or hybrid schedule.
TITLE: Administrative Assistant (Entry-Level)
JOB SITE: DK Security Lansing Corporate Office
PAY RANGE: Starting range is $18.75/hr, paid bi-weekly with future increases.
JOB ROLES:
This job is a dual role and requires a high-energy, motivated, and professional individual who thrives in fast-paced office environments. The Administrative Assistant in the Lansing Corporate Office will learn five roles, which will encompass the full scope of their job responsibilities.
Fingerprinting Technician
The Assistant will be the primary person responsible for operating our fingerprinting system and taking fingerprints for various clients across the State of Michigan. The assistant will also ensure fingerprinting paperwork is stored in a secure and orderly manner for quick access during an audit. Fingerprints will be taken for people seeking school employment, liquor licenses, concealed pistol licenses, state bar licenses, etc.
Recruiting Assistant
The Administrative Assistant will assist the recruiting and HR department with screening applicants for high priority job openings as needed.
Office Assistant
The Administrative Assistant will assist all office personnel with paperwork and other tasks as assigned. The office assistant will ensure that office supplies are stocked by notifying the office manager when those supplies are low, will ensure the uniform laundry is returned to its proper storage bins, and will take periodic inventories of uniforms and office supplies.
Inter-Office Courier
The Administrative Assistant will use a company provided vehicle to shuttle sensitive documents and other equipment between corporate offices across the region.
Uniform Security Officer
The Administrative Assistant will, when required and using a company provided vehicle whenever possible, assist in providing security services as a uniform security officer at various client locations throughout the state.
