Position Title: Security Officer

Location: Houston, TX (Multiple Sites)

Schedule: Full-Time | Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday (Nights & Weekends)

Pay: $15/Hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and flexible Security Officer to support multiple sites across the Houston area. This position provides consistent full-time hours with the opportunity for additional overtime based on operational needs.

The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and capable of working across multiple environments while maintaining a strong security presence and high level of professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols (foot and golf cart) across assigned properties
• Maintain a visible presence to deter security concerns and unauthorized activity
• Monitor property conditions and enforce site-specific policies
• Interact professionally with residents, tenants, and the general public
• Respond appropriately to incidents and escalate when necessary
• Complete accurate and timely incident reports and activity logs

Schedule & Site Coverage

This role includes consistent weekly coverage across multiple locations, including:

• Weekend overnight shifts at residential properties
• Weekday overnight shifts at commercial and retail locations
• Extended overnight coverage at business properties

Additional overtime opportunities may be available to support call-offs and staffing gaps.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License (required)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and extended hours
• Comfortable working outdoors and in inclement weather
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to remain alert, observant, and professional at all times

• Flexible and willing to pick up additional shifts as needed
• Comfortable working independently across multiple locations
• Resides within reasonable distance of assigned sites

Work Environment

This role involves both indoor and outdoor duties, including prolonged standing, walking, and exposure to varying weather conditions.
