Armed Security Officer

Location: Houston, TX - Cutten Road

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule Options:

• Tuesday- Saturday : 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tuesday-Saturday: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Armed Security Officer to join our security team at a manufacturing site in Houston, TX. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the facility, its employees, and assets. This position requires utmost professionalism, a strong commitment to safety, and previous experience in armed security, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol and monitor the manufacturing facility to prevent theft, vandalism, or any unauthorized access.
• Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and effectively.
• Operate security systems and cameras to monitor the premises.
• Control access points and verify identification of authorized personnel.
• Provide reports on security incidents and any unusual activities.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service while interacting with employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Enforce security policies and procedures in a safe and effective manner.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure the well-being of all personnel on site.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid TX Level 3 Armed Security Guard License.
• Minimum of 2 years of armed security experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to clear an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) background check.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle emergency situations calmly and professionally.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and exhibit excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Safety-first mindset: safety and professionalism must be top priority at all times.
