Unarmed Security Officer – Schuyler, NE

Schedule: 10pm–6am (Overnights) • Weekend availability required Pay: $16.40/hourRequirements: Must be 18+ and have a valid driver’s license

Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable Unarmed Security Officer to provide safety and security services at a client facility in Schuyler, NE. This role focuses on observing, reporting, patrolling, and responding to situations as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol interior and exterior areas on foot, by vehicle, or by golf cart
• Monitor surveillance systems and secure access points
• Log inbound/outbound traffic and verify delivery paperwork
• Report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and maintenance issues
• Conduct visual inspections of vehicles entering/exiting the property
• Respond to incidents and follow all emergency procedures
• Write accurate incident reports and maintain daily activity logs
• Enforce site rules, policies, and post orders
• Provide customer service and support to employees and visitors

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license (required for most posts)
• Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to walk, stand, and patrol for extended periods
• Professional demeanor and reliability
