Unarmed Security Officer

Location: Zanesville, OH 

Schedule: Position 1: Monday-Thursday 12am-8am

Position 2: Saturday-Wednesday 12am-8am

Pay: $15.30 per hour (bi-weekly pay)

Position Overview

We are seeking reliable, professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide safety and protection for a large warehouse operation during overnight hours. The ideal candidate will maintain a visible security presence, monitor access points, conduct patrols, and ensure compliance with site safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to the facility and designated areas
• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the property
• Observe, report, and document any unusual activities or safety concerns
• Respond to alarms and incidents in a calm and professional manner
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and shift documentation
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Follow all company and client policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid state-issued security license or ability to obtain one (if applicable)
• Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and stay alert throughout the shift
• Must be able to pass a background check

Shift & Environment

• Overnight shifts (typically between 12 AM and 8 AM)
• Indoor/outdoor environment with periodic foot patrols
• Must be comfortable working alone or with limited supervision
