Armed Security Floater - ACT 235 Certified

Location: Wilkes-Barre/Scranton/Lehigh Valley Area

Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Job Type: Part-Time

Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Armed Security Floater to provide security coverage in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton/Lehigh Valley areas. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in armed security, preferably in a patrol, floater, or flex role. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Provide armed security coverage at various client locations as needed.
• Patrol assigned areas, ensuring the safety and security of premises.
• Respond to security alarms, disturbances, and emergencies as required.
• Maintain visibility to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of staff and visitors.
• Document incidents and daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and security protocols.

Requirements:

• Current ACT 235 Certification (Required)
• Own firearm and Level 2 holster (Required)
• Experience in armed security, preferably in patrol, floater, or flex roles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Own reliable vehicle for transportation between job sites.
• Ability to work part-time hours with a flexible schedule.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
