Armed Security Officer – Houma, Thibodaux, Galliano & Lockport, LA

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting professional Armed Security Officers with strong customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team serving Houma, Thibodaux, Galliano, and Lockport, Louisiana.

Job Responsibilities

Security Officers help protect people, property, and assets by preventing and deterring crime. Duties include:

• Performing regular and random patrols of assigned properties
• Monitoring premises and reporting hazards, suspicious activity, or unusual occurrences
• Enforcing site procedures and access control when required
• Documenting daily operations and completing incident reports
• Investigating and reporting security breaches or disturbances

Basic Requirements

• Active Louisiana Armed Security Officer License
• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Strong communication skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation
• Active cell phone
• Ability to pass a drug screening

Physical & Mental Job Requirements

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, especially during emergencies
• Ability to read and interpret written information in various situations
• Ability to drive a motor vehicle during the course of duties if required
• Ability to detect and identify sounds such as alarms, distress calls, or emergency signals in noisy environments
• Ability to walk, stand, run, climb, and sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. if required
• Must maintain good mental health and sound judgment to respond quickly in emergencies
• Must be able to meet state licensing requirements and maintain the appropriate Armed Security Officer license
