Position Overview

Allstate Security is seeking a professional and customer-service-oriented Security Officer to support operations at the Civic Center in partnership with the City of Oceanside.

This role involves working directly with City staff and engaging with members of the public in a respectful and professional manner. Officers must demonstrate strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage situations calmly and effectively. Proper and clean uniform is a must. Appearance and first impression are important. Our officers are expected to engage and assist all guests, non guests and staff in a friendly professional manner. Officers are expected to perform perimeter, stairwell, floor checks and assist with guest services while on patrol. Officers are expected to respond to any and all emergencies such as Fire Alarms, Panic Button request and undesirable individuals that have come on to the property. Officers are to communicate via 2 way radio with dispatch and to respond to dispatch requests. Officers should have a basic understanding and experience of incident report writing, Officers are to respond to all lock ups and unlocks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine foot patrols throughout the hotel property
• Perform stairwell checks, floor checks, and perimeter monitoring
• Maintain a visible and professional presence
• Respond to guest concerns and security-related incidents
• De-escalate situations calmly and professionally
• Work closely with hotel management and team members
• Complete detailed Daily Activity and Incident Reports
