Pay: $16.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time

Saturday & Sunday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Monday – Wednesday: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking a professional, experienced Lobby Security Officer for a very high-profile high-rise office building in the Houston 77079 area.

This property houses multiple tenants and operates under strict access control protocols. The position requires a polished, professional presence, strong situational awareness, and the ability to enforce building policies with confidence and discretion.

This is a customer-facing role where professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail are critical. The Lobby Officer serves as the first point of contact for tenants, executives, visitors, vendors, and clients while maintaining a secure and controlled environment.

This position begins on March 16, 2026. Applicants must be available to start on or before this date.

Security Officer Responsibilities

• Greet and assist tenants, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
• Enforce strict access control procedures for all building occupants and guests
• Verify identification and issue visitor credentials
• Monitor CCTV, access control, and alarm systems
• Maintain a visible and alert security presence in the lobby
• Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and service requests
• Complete detailed daily activity logs and incident reports
• Coordinate with property management and tenant representatives
• Ensure all building security policies and post orders are strictly followed

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of professional security experience (commercial or high-rise strongly preferred)
• Must live within 20 miles of 77079 (Houston area)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor (no neck, face, or below-the-wrist tattoos)
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to work both day and evening shifts as scheduled

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in corporate, commercial, or Class A high-rise security
• Experience working in multi-tenant office environments
• Familiarity with visitor management and access control systems
• Military or law enforcement background is a plus
