SUMMARY:
Prosegur Global Risk Services (GRS) operates a dedicated Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in support of Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). The GSOC Lead role serves as the on-shift operational lead, responsible for directing GSOC personnel, overseeing incident response, and ensuring the effective execution of monitoring, intelligence, and emergency coordination functions that may impact SIE personnel, travelers, facilities, assets, events, and business operations.
The GSOC Lead ensures operational continuity, report quality, SLA adherence, life-safety monitoring, and timely escalation of complex or high-impact incidents. The position requires leadership, advanced incident management capability, and the ability to make real-time decisions affecting personnel safety and business operations globally.
Schedule
- Analysts work 12-hour shifts and opposite rotating schedules (e.g., Team A / Team B) designed to provide continuous global coverage.
- The rotation is structured to provide multiple consecutive days off between work cycles, offering meaningful recovery time and improved work-life balance despite the extended shift length.
Responsibilities
Shift Leadership & Operational Oversight
- Serve as the on-shift decision-making authority for all GSOC operations.
- Direct and manage GSOC Analysts during assigned shift.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, SLAs, and escalation protocols.
- Conduct shift briefings, passdowns, and operational alignment reviews.
- Maintain continuous oversight of life-safety monitoring and crisis tracking.
- Conduct periodic audits of active monitoring streams and operator workflows.
- Ensure completion of required training modules and facilitate shift-based drills.
Incident Command & Escalation Management
- Lead coordination of complex or high-impact incidents (e.g., Threat-to-Life, geopolitical crises, severe weather, facility emergencies).
- Make real-time risk-based decisions regarding escalation to SIE stakeholders, field security teams, or executive leadership.
- Oversee TTL incidents, emergency badge access requests, and high-risk personnel safety situations.
- Ensure appropriate documentation, tracking, and follow-through critical incidents.
- Liaise with emergency services, regional security managers, and corporate stakeholders as required.
Risk Intelligence & Monitoring Oversight
- Oversee global threat monitoring conducted by Analysts using approved intelligence platforms (Factal, Everbridge/VCC, ISOS, etc.).
- Validate threat assessments for credibility, severity, and business impact.
- Provide analytical guidance during evolving global events.
- Ensure timely dissemination of life-safety communications prior to release.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Required:
- 2+ years of experience in a GSOC, security operations, intelligence analysis, or risk monitoring role.
- Demonstrated experience leading shifts or coordinating complex security incidents.
- Strong understanding of global threat landscapes (crime, civil unrest, geopolitical risk, natural disasters, targeted violence).
- Proven ability to make independent operational decisions under pressure.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting a global corporate or technology/media organization.
- Prior use of platforms such as Factal, Everbridge, Ontic, ISOS, CCURE, Exacq, or similar systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in security studies, criminal justice, international relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Expert-level ability to utilize OSINT, social media platforms, and intelligence tools to identify threats.
