This position falls under Prosegur’s Global Risk Services business unit and will be embedded within a large, global client (long-term/permanent). The Facility Security Manager will be responsible for managing a team of Security professionals who are charged with protecting the client’s global HQ. 

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement extensive security plans, policies and procedures to protect personnel, assets and information.
  • Lead, train and supervise a team of security personnel, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Manage access control systems, surveillance equipment and other security technologies to ensure proper functioning and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as Human Resources and IT and Facilities, to ensure compliance with security protocols and standards.
  • Investigate security breaches, incidents and violations, document findings and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security capabilities.
  • Educate employees on security awareness, policies and procedures through training programs and communication initiatives.
  • Stay informed about the latest security technologies, trends and regulatory requirements and make recommendations for enhancements to the security program.

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma/bachelor’s degree
  • 10+ years of experience in security management, law enforcement or the armed forces, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices.
  • Working knowledge of any required computer programs and security technology
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Experience training teams on workplace violence, active threat and general security practices.
  • Crisis Management experience.
  • Experience with Executive Protection.
  • Excellent team building and leadership skills.
