 IMPORTANT SITE DETAILS:  

 We are seeking experienced, fully credentialed Special Police Officers to join our team in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.  

 RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Ensure the safety and security of customers and staff
• Monitor and patrol premises
• Respond to incidents and emergencies
• Maintain detailed reports of activities and incidents
• Enforce customer policies in a professional and courteous manner
• Arrive on time and in proper uniform at your assigned post
• Ability to interact and communicate with the public
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to assess and evaluate emergencies effectively
• Ability to quickly and accurately identify critical issues and respond appropriately

QUALIFICATIONS:  

 YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER LICENSE (SPO) FOR WASHINGTON, DC. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A COPY OF THE LICENSE TO THE RECRUITER PRIOR TO BEING HIRED.   

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years
• Legal work status in the US
• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a drug screening
• Reliable and functional transportation (Public transportation is not acceptable)
• Ownership of a cell phone for contact by Operations Supervisors
• Ability to pass a criminal background check with no felony arrests or convictions
• Must have an active SPO license, Baton Handcuffs, and OC license or certificate
• Ability to perform duties as stated in post orders, which may include standing/walking for extended periods or lifting
• Familiarity with mobile technology (tablets, smartphones, etc.)
