Prosegur Global Risk Services (GRS) operates a dedicated Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in support of Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE). The Risk Intelligence Analyst role is responsible for continuous monitoring, analysis, and response to global physical security risks that may impact SIE personnel, travelers, facilities, assets, events, and business operations.
This position integrates risk intelligence analysis, incident detection, emergency response coordination, and GSOC customer service functions within a mission-critical environment. Analysts work collaboratively with GSOC Leads, Prosegur management, and SIE security stakeholders to ensure timely threat identification, accurate reporting, and effective escalation of security incidents worldwide.
Schedule
- This position supports a 24x7x365 GSOC and operates on a firefighter-style rotating schedule. This job posting is for the day shift from (0600 - 1800).
- Analysts work 12-hour shifts and opposite rotating schedules (e.g., Team A / Team B) designed to provide continuous global coverage.
- The rotation is structured to provide multiple consecutive days off between work cycles, offering meaningful recovery time and improved work-life balance despite the extended shift length.
Role Responsibilities
Risk Intelligence & Threat Monitoring
- Monitor global risk events using approved intelligence platforms including Factal, Everbridge/VCC, International SOS (ISOS), and other relevant tools.
- Conduct open-source intelligence (OSINT) research using credible news, social media, and public sources to identify emerging threats.
- Analyze and assess threats for credibility, severity, proximity, and potential impact to SIE employees, facilities, studios, events, and travelers.
- Actively monitor life-safety events, identifying potential crisis situations and escalating in accordance with established SOPs.
Incident Detection & Emergency Response
- Perform real-time monitoring of onsite and offsite security systems, including alarms, access control, and video platforms (e.g., CCURE, Exacq, or equivalent).
- Receive, triage, and document emergency calls, emails, alerts, and GSOC requests, including coordination with field security teams, physical security partners, and emergency services when directed.
- Support Threat-to-Life (TTL) incidents, emergency badge access, and employee assistance requests as required.
Incident Reporting & Documentation
- Draft timely, accurate, and well-structured incident reports, intelligence alerts, and situation updates.
- Ensure reports meet Prosegur and SIE quality, compliance, and documentation standards.
- Track incidents, BOLOs (Be On the Lookout), and requests within designated case management or reporting systems.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
Required:
- Prior experience in a GSOC, security operations, intelligence analysis, or risk monitoring role.
- Familiarity with global security threats, including crime, protests, geopolitical instability, natural disasters, and targeted violence.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting a global corporate or technology/media organization.
- Prior use of platforms such as Factal, Everbridge, Ontic, ISOS, CCURE, Exacq, or similar systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in security studies, criminal justice, international relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Expert-level ability to utilize OSINT, social media platforms, and intelligence tools to identify threats.
