Job Title: Armed Security Officer   

Location: [Algiers, Louisiana]  

Job Type: Clinic Setting  

8am-4pm Mon-Wed (24 hours) 

$15 an hour

Job Description:  

We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Armed Security Officers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises, personnel, and assets. You will be expected to maintain a vigilant presence, respond to incidents, and enforce regulations to prevent security breaches.  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Clinic security and foot patrol designated areas and monitor activities to prevent and detect suspicious behavior.
• Actively engage with visitors, employees, and the general public to provide assistance and maintain order.
• Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
• Conduct thorough security checks and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Operate and maintain firearms and other necessary equipment responsibly and safely.

Requirements:  

• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed positions.
• Must possess a valid state armed security officer license.
• At least 1 year of armed security experience 
• Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background investigation.
• Must have reliable transportation and cell phone. 
• Ability to handle firearms and other personal protection equipment (PPE) effectively and safely.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and make quick decisions under pressure.
• must have de-escalations skills/training 
• must professionally be able to handle any situation that may arise.
