Residential Security Officer 

Location: Chicago, IL 

Job Type: Part-Time  

Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 8am-6pm

Monday and Tuesday 2pm - 9pm

Saturdays and Sunday 2pm-9pm

Pay Rate: $16.60 per hour 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a Part-Time Residential Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of a residential property in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have prior security experience, preferably in a residential or concierge setting. As a member of our security team, you will be responsible for maintaining security on the property, monitoring access points, and providing exceptional customer service to residents. 

Responsibilities: 

• Monitor and secure access points to the residential property, ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
• Enforce property rules and regulations while ensuring the safety of residents and guests.
• Provide concierge-level service and assist residents with inquiries or concerns as needed.
• Write detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, or any unusual occurrences.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions with residents, guests, and staff.

Qualifications: 

• Active Illinois PERC Guard Card is required.
• 20-Hour Unarmed Security Certificate is required.
• Previous security experience is a must, with preference for residential security or customer service/concierge backgrounds.
• Strong sense of professionalism, with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and efficiency.
