Unarmed Vehicle Security Patrol Officer

Location: Pensacola, FL
Pay: $16.50/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Description

We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Unarmed Vehicle Security Patrol Officers to join our team in Pensacola, FL. Officers in this role are responsible for conducting mobile patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, and ensuring the safety of clients and the general public. This position requires strong situational awareness, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently while following established post orders.

Available Shifts

Candidates must be available for one or more of the following shifts:

  • 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM
  • 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and randomized vehicle patrols of assigned properties
  • Perform safety checks of buildings, parking areas, and perimeters
  • Identify, observe, and report suspicious activity or safety hazards
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and service calls in a calm and professional manner
  • Complete detailed patrol logs and incident reports accurately and on time
  • Operate patrol vehicles safely, following traffic laws and company policies
  • Maintain communication with dispatch, supervisors, and local authorities when necessary
  • Provide customer service and act as a professional representative of the company

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Valid Florida Class D Security Guard License (required)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
  • Prior security experience required (vehicle patrol, mobile patrol, or patrol officer experience strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of security patrol procedures and safety protocols
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Strong professionalism, reliability, and sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to remain alert for extended periods and work independently
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to assess potentially hazardous situations and take appropriate action
  • Commitment to de-escalation, observation, and reporting
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times

Compensation & Benefits

  • $16.50 per hour
