DSI Security Services is seeking a Regional HR Manager to support a portion of our Western Division, including multi-state operations with a strong focus on California employment compliance. This role serves as a key HR partner to Operations by delivering hands-on support in employee relations, investigations, performance management, recruiting assistance, onboarding, compliance, and leave administration.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary HR resource for managers and employees across the Western Division.
- Lead employee relations efforts, including investigations, corrective actions, and coaching.
- Ensure compliance with California and multi-state wage and hour laws, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee leave of absence administration and partner with workers’ comp carriers on injury and return-to-work processes.
- Support recruiting efforts, interviews, and new-hire onboarding.
- Provide guidance on performance management, training needs, and policy interpretation.
- Maintain HR documentation, reporting, and HRIS data integrity.
- Partner with HR leadership on key initiatives, training, and HR infrastructure development.
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of progressive HR experience; California HR experience required.
- Strong working knowledge of CA employment law; multi-state experience preferred.
- Experience conducting investigations and advising on employee relations.
- Background managing LOAs (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADAA).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support a dispersed workforce and manage multiple priorities with independence.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred; SHRM-CP/SCP a plus.
- Experience in the security industry or with BSIS requirements is a bonus.
