Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer

Location: East Hanover, NJ

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday — 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Pay Rate: $18.25 per hour

We are seeking a professional and dependable Unarmed Security Officer to support safety and access control at a busy production facility/company. The ideal candidate is observant, reliable, and experienced in maintaining a secure workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access for employees, visitors, and vendors
• Conduct routine patrols to identify safety or security concerns
• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the facility
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations accurately
• Respond to security or safety issues following established procedures
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, staff, and incoming officers

Required Qualifications

• Active New Jersey SORA Guard Card
• Previous security experience required
• Strong observational, communication, and reporting skills
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
• Ability to provide reliable transportation to consistently arrive on time
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
