Gate & Mobile Patrol Security Officer

Location: York Haven, PA

Job Type: Part-Time | Weekend | Overnight

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM
Pay: $17.50 per hour

We are hiring a dependable Gate Officer / Mobile Patrol Security Officer to provide security services at a large industrial facility. The role involves access control, gate operations, vehicle patrols, and maintaining a strong security presence throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform access control duties at facility gates, including verifying credentials.
• Conduct mobile patrols in a company vehicle to monitor buildings, equipment, and perimeter areas.
• Complete detailed shift reports and document incidents accurately.
• Respond to alarms, safety issues, or unusual activity as required.
• Maintain professional communication with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel when needed.
• Follow all site and company security procedures.

Qualifications

• Prior security experience preferred, especially in access control, gate operations, or mobile/patrol duties.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and strong driving history.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently for long periods.
• Comfortable using computers and standard electronic reporting tools.
