Security Engineers Inc. is an integrated security solutions provider. We are seeking an Integrated Service Field Technician to help us achieve our mission. As an Integrated Service Field Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting and maintaining various low voltage security related equipment and systems while providing customer service and support. Job Description:
A general job description of the daily activities and/or job tasks the position may require would include, but not limited to, one or more of the following:
· Travel: Ability to travel as needed
· Low Voltage: working with solar and low voltage systems such as wiring in a solar panel, batteries, voltage converters, network switches, mounting cameras, etc.
· Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer, network, security, and solar systems.
· Diagnosing and troubleshooting software and hardware issues
· Repairing and replacing damaged components
· Able to multitask and support the operations as needed for IT and/or physical hardware support
· A.I. object detection configuration, camera and other security device setup for service
· Investigate and resolve software, network, hardware and solar issues
· Coordinate and communicate with customers and operations to optimize security systems
· Complete all appropriate company paperwork and reporting as required
· Delivery, repair and recovery of deployable surveillance systems
· Assist other functions of the department/company as needed
· Comply with safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your team
· Ability to travel if required
This is a blended role where the Field Technician can transition from mounting and wiring low voltage components, delivering and recovering deployable solar security systems and able to perform basic IT/network related configuration and troubleshooting. The variation in tasks is great for someone who likes to perform a variety of tasks throughout the day.
Security Engineers can/will provide any necessary training. Attention to detail, ownership mentality with basic computer/technology, networking and so basic tool handling skills will set the field technician up for long term success.
