Role:
An Armed Field Team Security Officer plays a critical role in maintaining a safe environment for clients, employees, and visitors by enforcing security procedures and responding to potential threats. This position requires carrying a firearm and using sound judgment in high-pressure situations. To qualify, officers must be licensed, trained in firearm safety, and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Must have or obtain a Valid Security License as required by the state licensing authority.

• Must have a valid driver’s license from your state of residence.
• Special qualifications:

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must pass Armed training and hold a valid pistol permit.
• Driving post: must have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must have full flexibility of scheduling to assist covering multiple sites.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Security Operations

• Perform regular patrols to enhance safety and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify IDs and credentials.
• Enforce procedures per Security Post Instructions.

• Incident Response & Reporting

• Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol.
• Maintain accurate logs of activities and observations.
• Execute routine tasks: locking/unlocking doors, managing security systems, and monitoring surveillance.

• Customer Service & Professionalism

• Assist visitors and employees, addressing concerns professionally.
• Enforce SEI and Client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking).
• Maintain a clean, pressed uniform and professional appearance.

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Minimum Required:

• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Strong situational awareness and curiosity.
• Ability to stay calm and problem-solve in critical situations.
• Basic computer skills; able to use a tablet for reporting.

• Preferred:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Minimum Physical Requirements:
• Stand for at least 1 hour without support or break
• Sit for at least 1 hour without break
• Walk at least ½ mile without stopping

Education & Experience:

Minimum:

• Education: HS Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1+ years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience.

Preferred:

• Experience: 3+ years of verifiable security, military or law enforcement experience.
